Area C parents & 10 month old girl JanJan in hospital for 5th day -
after extensive/exhaustive testing (including MRI scan) JanJan has been
diagnosed as mentally & physically handicapped for life - her brain is
distended/distorted (1st case ever for local doctors), possibly caused by
flu medicine taken by mother when 2 months pregnant. Their
"home" is below, 2003-12-21, 2nd photo from left...the one with
JanJan's yellow jacket hanging outside. Doctors say that JanJan's
condition is final, they can do nothing to help her. HK teachers'
group is taking case to a higher Hospital, asking the Heavenly Physician
to give JanJan a special blessing....as in case of miracle boy on front page of last week's Brisbane "Leader" |
